Restaurant Ca Toni in Altea la Vella

Approx. 70 years ago the Bar Ca Toni has opened. Today the grandson Toni and his sister Pepa are managing this elegant restaurant offering a Mediterranean and international kitchen based on the best local, seasonal produce. The ingredients receive a minimum of manipulation and cooking, thus preserving their natural taste and nutritional value. The menu shows a wide choice of starters, special fish starters, fresh fish but also excellent meat dishes and several traditional regional specialities. The dining room with an open fire place  is comfortable and soberly but attractively decorated and in the summer a lovely terrace is set out in the lush garden where the perfumes from the flowers augment a sense of well being. There is an ample selection of good wines. Relaxed, informal atmosphere and very friendly service.

Recommended dishes: monkfish in white wine sauce, lamb chops or shoulder, cutlets of baby goat, paellas (to order).
